About the Prodigy MX-2
The MX-2 is an overstable midrange highly resistant to torque. The beadless design provides a clean grip for all hand sizes, ensuring a smooth release to go with predictable flight and consistent fade. You’ll find it is one of the easier midranges to forehand. For those familiar with our M Series midrange discs, the MX Series midranges are slightly smaller in diameter and slimmer in profile. The MX-2 packs a similar stability to the M1, but with more glide and a later fade in its flight path. It is slightly more overstable than the Isaac Robinson Archive and has a more rounded edge to the rim than an Archive or MX-1.
About 500 Plastic
500 plastic from Prodigy is less gummy than 400, and a bit stiffer. 500 plastic has a pearlescent finish and has a solid feeling rim for good grip and confidence when throwing. 500 is a great balance of flex and firmness, and is unlike anything in the Prodigy plastic lineup.
