John Dorn is a veteran illustrator and graphic designer whose disc golf stamp work spans nearly three decades. He began designing hot stamps in the 1990s, starting with custom event artwork for the Mad City Open. Since then, Dorn has created artwork for over a hundred disc golf tournaments, including Ice Bowls, PDGA events, and charity fundraisers. He officially joined Team MVP in 2017, with his first MVP tour stamp debuting in 2019. A longtime disc golfer, teacher, and league director, Dorn brings deep community roots and artistic vision to every design.
Dorn’s stamp work is known for its intricate linework, mythology-inspired themes, and clever integration of disc golf culture. His recent triple-foil “Trail” stamp—released by MVP in 2025—showcases his ability to balance technical detail with narrative depth. Beyond his commercial work, Dorn continues to give back by teaching disc golf in schools and donating portions of his proceeds to charitable causes.
